Description: This class will teach you the basic safety procedures and techniques to cut and etch a variety of materials on the laser cutters at MakeATX. This class is required for all individuals wishing to use the laser cutter independently (and it's also lots of fun)! You'll take away your very own laser-cut souvenir!

Prerequisites: None (though some graphics software knowledge may be helpful)

Attendance and cancellation policies: Please note refunds are available to those who cancel with at least 72 hour notice. We want you to stay home if you’re not feeling well, so class credit shall be granted to those who cancel less than 72 hours before the start of class due to illness. To ensure we are able to cover all material in a timely manner, students must arrive promptly. Tardiness of more than 15 minutes will result in a student forfeiting his or her place in the class.
